Welcome JT…I, LH have some questions for you 😉

LH: I wanted to be a ballerina, race car driver and a private detective when I was little. What did you want to be when you grew up?

JT:  I have always wanted to be a model and an actress, since I was a little girl.

LH: I can remember wanting to be a movie star when I was a little girl, but alas…How did you break into the modeling/acting/show business?

JT:  My parents wouldn’t let me model while I was a minor and still in High School.  So I waited and on my 18th birthday I set up a meeting with a Chicago talent agency.  I signed with them that same day.  It wasn’t the greatest place to start but it got the ball rolling, and I’ve never stopped since then.  I think the key to success is to just keep moving forward and never give up.

LH: I’ve heard that modeling/acting/show business is stressful and demanding. How do you handle the pressure and make it look like so much fun?

JT: This business is a lot more work than people really understand.  I’ve been going to college on a scholarship and maintaining good grades and honors while working full time at modeling and acting.  Good time management skills are important.  So is the support of friends and family.  Healthy lifestyle is important to keeping up the energy levels for my hectic work schedule – I exercise, eat well and avoid alcohol.

LH: I detest having my picture taken! What’s the toughest part of modeling/acting/show business for you?

JT: The hardest part of modeling is all the behind-the-scenes stuff that outsiders don’t normally see as part of the job.  The 300 mile car rides or red eye flights.  The 3am early call times, or long days on set.  But I do it because I love it.

LH: I have a very bad body image as I used to be very heavy and lost 100 pounds.  I get a lot of looks now and it makes me feel very uncomfortable. Do you ever get tired of being drooled over? (Not like I’d ever do that 😉

JT: I don’t see it as being drooled over.  As long as the fans and admirers are polite about it, I’m flattered!

LH: I’ve seen your face, body, etc. grace many places…Give me a list of your favorite assignments.

JT: I like to keep a positive outlook and treat every new project as my favorite.  I like to model in every style.  But recently, I’ve especially enjoyed working on romance novel covers for Period Images.

LH: I’m working on a secret project…Do you have any upcoming projects that you’d care to share?

JT: Well now I can’t talk about secret projects or else… they won’t be secret anymore!  But I can say that I’m working on three different feature films this year, and more TV appearances are in the works.  And you’ll be seeing me on a lot more romance novel covers.

LH: I LOVE to shoot pool to unwind and relieve stress. What do you do to wind down?

JT: Ask me that question when I’m done with college in a few more weeks!  School and work eat up most of my time and there’s not much left over for fun.  But when I do unwind, it’s usually going out with friends for a movie or dinner.

LH: A long those lines…When I was very young, I worked in the Special Events department at Caesars Tahoe and got to stay after a billiards tournament with Willie Mosconi and Minnesota Fats to knock around a few balls. It was one of my favorite memories from my time there. What is your favorite celebrity story?

JT:I don’t have a celebrity story…..yet let you know when that changes! 😉

LH: I have always wanted to start a charity for terminally ill adults. Is there something special that you’ve always wanted to do?

JT: I have always wanted to help kids with learning disabilities. Help them stay motivated and follow there dreams. Help them realize they can accomplish anything with hard work and a little perseverance   J

LH: I personally think that there is way too much sex and violence everywhere in society these days and that Hollywood is one of the biggest offenders. It’s kind of ironic that we’re in the business of selling sex and violence. Ever feel conflicted?

JT: I set my goals and limits from day one in this business, and as long as I stay true to them… I will never have regrets or feel conflicted.

LH: It’s guilty pleasure time! Mine is Grey’s Anatomy. I get mad when the season ends, can’t wait for the new season to begin, will be devastated beyond even daring to imagine when it ends and find myself crying at some point in nearly every episode! What one television show is your “guilty pleasure”?

JT: My Guitly pleasures is Revenge… Idk not my normal personality however I love it!

LH: I have things I want the world to know so I write books…Is there anything else you’d like the world to know?

JT: Yes!  You can accomplish anything in life if you stay true to your inner voice.  Be positive, stay focused and keep moving forward.

Thank you for that in depth and honest interview JT…Now… for the fun stuff!

If you could go anywhere for a week, with anyone you wanted and no one would ever find out about it…where would you go, what would you do and who would you take?

JT: Tough question!  Europe, I suppose.  I’d love to see Paris, Rome, honestly so many more places than I could visit in just one week.  I love to shop and eat at nice restaurants.  And who would I bring?  Well now,  a good girl doesn’t kiss and tell!

Thank for spending this time with us and make sure to stop by and say hello to Jax…just be sure to tell her Leanna sent you 😉

Welcome  ….I, LH have some questions for you 😉

LH: I wanted to be a ballerina, race car driver and a private detective when I was little. What did you want to be when you grew up?

SM: An entertainer! Since I was a little girl I was imitating famous Italian celebs, singing and dancing for family and friends who used to buy me a gelato at the end of my performance.

LH: I can remember wanting to be a movie star when I was a little girl, but alas…How did you break into the modeling/acting/show business?

SM:I started modeling pretty young for Italian Fashion designers and one day in Rome I went to an audition for a Runway Show and I ended up getting a Principal role for the “Dating Game “on the Italian National TV Network. Think about the Bachelor on steroids! That was unexpected, fun and the beginning of my acting career. Yeah, you know, the TV dating is all fluff….

LH: I’ve heard that modeling/acting/show business is stressful and demanding. How do you handle the pressure and make it look like so much fun?

SM: It is a full time job and it can be stressing because you need to travel on short notice and be ready for auditions/jobs any moment but if you are passionate as I am you just go with the flow and enjoy every second of it.

LH: I detest having my picture taken! What’s the toughest part of modeling/acting/show business for you?

SM: Kissing on set someone with a bad breathe. Unless is a really famous star, than I can make an exception 😉

LH: I have a very bad body image as I used to be very heavy and lost 100 pounds. I get a lot of looks now and it makes me feel very uncomfortable. Do you ever get tired of being drooled over? (Not like I’d ever do that 😉

SM: I love when people tell me that I look good. I feel I am very approachable and I like to think I can help people to regain self-confidence and be happy with who they are. It often happens at the supermarket or when I go shopping .It just make me happy when people  come to me as they already know me. I usually talk to them because I think that a nice word or a good smile doesn’t cost me anything.  It actually warms  my heart. We will never know how good a simple smile can do. As S. Maria Teresa di Calcutta said “Never allow someone to come to you and go away without being better and happier..”

LH: I’ve seen your face, body, etc. grace many places…Give me a list of your favorite assignments.

SM: After being in the modeling business for a long time, I am focusing now on my acting career. The role I had in THE BLACK DOVE movie on set with John Savage where I play his lover, it was a milestone for me. After the sex scene, I thought this could be really fun!

LH: I’m working on a secret project…Do you have any upcoming projects that you’d care to share?

SM: Yes!! I can share a secret with you…but just with you ok? Shhhhh don’t tell anybody yet. I am rehearsing for a role for a Show with a Famous International Magician where I will be singing and disappearing as final act. This will be performed at The Celebrity Magician Show this year.

LH: I LOVE to shoot pool to unwind and relieve stress. What do you do to wind down?

SM: I love sculpting and painting. This is my best relief to daily life stress. Just don’t ask me who I think of when I am hammering down those stones!

LH: I have always wanted to start a charity for terminally ill adults. Is there something special that you’ve always wanted to do?

SM: I actually acted on a movie few years ago for Charity for the American Cancer Society (The Last Race) in memory of my mom who died young with cancer and all the people who are still trying to fight and overcome this terrible disease.

LH: I personally think that there is way too much sex and violence everywhere in society these days and that Hollywood is one of the biggest contributors. It’s kind of ironic that we’re in the business of selling sex and violence. Ever feel conflicted and if so, why?

SM: I agree with you with too much sex and violence nowadays. Once I had to refuse a lead role of a Russian Spy in a thriller because I felt pushed from the Director to play a too-extreme sex scene. I not a conservative person. I usually get and enjoy playing sensual roles as I did in The Black Dove or Sydney especially when is a Comedy or a Thriller but the way the Director was pushing it, was totally not cool and unnecessary.

SM: I love Hanna Montana!!! And actually Nick Roses who is the manager of Miley Cirus

has been one of my favorite coach.

LH: I have things I want the world to know so I write books…Is there anything else you’d like the world to know?

SM: I am a very creative person. As in Latin “cogito ergo sunt” my creativity keeps me alive. Beside acting and modeling I like people to know me as a great cook. Healthy meals with raw food and dairy-free desserts….yummmmm

Thank you for that sweet and honest interview SM…Now… for the fun stuff!

Favorite Beverage?  My own healthy and tasty smoothies that I drink every morning.

Airplane or Cruise ship? Cruise ship because I love to be in the middle of the ocean where I can look at the sunrise and sunset every day and get inspired for my paintings.

Favorite Fruit? The Passion Fruit of course 😉

Meat & Potatoes or Fruits and Veggies? Fruits and veggies simply because I am 95% vegan…..

Exercise or Bubble Bath? Bubble Bath, it helps my creative fantasy

Favorite Color? Blue, the color of the ocean, the sky and immortality, ah!

Take out or Dine in? I would say Dine OUT, because I love people watching and I love dining under a nice pergola.

Camping or Hotel? I am a very comfortable person and I love relaxing when I am in vacation, so I choose hotel. I tried the camping-RV-hiking adventure. Ok, checked the box, let’s move on…;)

Sports or Chocolate?  Dark Chocolate because of the taste and its properties that helps keep you young and sexy

Dogs or Cats?  Dogs because they are more caring

Favorite Food?  Avocado…  but Nutella chocolate spread mmmmmmmm! I can’t resist it. (that’s that 5% missing in my vegan diet…;)

Favorite Song? In another Life 😉

Favorite Movie?  “The Woman In Red” with Gene Wilder and Kelly LeBrock

Favorite Car? What a question!! Ferrari….of course

Sex or Chocolate? (The answer “Both” is totally acceptable 😉 Good question chocolate first, eating it very slow, letting it melt with your tongue under your palate and then great sex because the chocolate contains phenylethyalamine that releases the hormons of pleasure in your brain.

And now for the essay part of the interview 😉

If you could go anywhere for a week, with anyone you wanted and no one would ever find out about it…where would you go, what would you do and who would you take?

SM: I would go to Polynesia with…..one of my big stone and every day I would sculpt it on the beach, till I make my own perfect man….. alive 😉

Make sure to stop by and say HI to Stefania Marcone and tell her that Leanna Harrow sent you 😉

Welcome  SS….I, LH have some questions for you 😉

LH: I wanted to be a ballerina, race car driver and a private detective when I was little. What did you want to be when you grew up?

SS: A princess who rode wild stallions. So, I guess I fulfilled my dreams! Actually, pretty quickly, I realized I wanted to write. I love words and stories, so for as long as I can remember I’ve written, and staged neighborhood plays!

LH: I can remember wanting to be a movie star when I was a little girl, but alas…How did you break into show business?

SS: I was a competitive ice skater. Then I went into modeling, which was good money, but very little creative input, acting was a logical step, it allowed me to express myself again. I just studied hard and went on auditions until I landed something. My first job was on the TV show Mike Hammer. I’ll never forget the feeling of the producer saying, “Let’s give her a part.” My heart soared.

LH: I’ve heard that modeling/acting/show business is stressful and demanding. How do you handle the pressure?

SS: Perspective!! It’s just a movie, or a play, not open-heart surgery! I take hike, a hot bath, a cold glass of something nice, and lots of reassuring conversation with my hubby. The most important thing is downtime. I have to have time alone, so that I can hear my own voice in my head.

LH: I detest having my picture taken! What’s the toughest part of getting models/actors to do what you want them to do?

SS: The toughest part of that, when I’m directing, is getting them to trust me, once that’s done, I have to be conscious of their limitations and strengths and be flexible to best serve the piece!

LH: I write books and can be found all over the web…Give me a list of your favorite accomplishments.

SS: I don’t think of the things I’ve done as accomplishments so much as activities and points of interest. It’s the journey that counts, not the magazine cover or whatever. I love the fact that I have published five books and have two more coming out soon from Penguin. “Invisible Ellen” was bought by a senior editor within two days of my agent sending it out. If you are a writer, you will understand what that means. (Normally you don’t hear a thing for at least 12 weeks.) I’m excited not just to be conquering the very difficult role of Mirium in “Scream at the Devil” but also to be one of the producers. I love giving people work and seeing them shine creatively individually, and as a group. Other than that, I am very happy to just plain contribute to the joy or needs of my family, friends, and pretty much anyone else with whom I come in contact. It can be a coaxing a smile from a stressed out waitress, or helping a mom with a fussy child on a plane, or winking at a guy who looks shy to boost his ego and remind him he’s just as important as Mel Gibson or anyone else. I love to make people laugh when they need cheering up. Those small moments are my finest. In fact, they are all there is.

LH: I’m working on a secret project…Do you have any upcoming projects that you’d care to share?

SS: Yes!! “Invisible Ellen” will be released in summer of 2014, the sequel some time later. And I’m actually writing the answers to your questions on the set of “Scream at the Devil” while they are lighting outside for a night scene. It will be completed by Christmas of 2013, and released soon afterwards. I’m playing a schizophrenic who sees images of the Devil; it’s very emotional and frightening. I’m having a blast. It’s bizarre how you can be sobbing and tearing your hair out, and some level of you is saying, “This is fun!”

LH: I LOVE to shoot pool to unwind and relieve stress. What do you do to wind down?

SS: I have to exercise, Hiking is my drug, it combines the beauty of nature with the endorphins of exercise. After that, reading would be at the top of the list, add in a hot bath or a swim, depending on the season and I’m pretty well toasty.

SS: Being an ice skater, it would have to be the day my mom pulled me out of elementary school and took me to see Peggy Fleming practice at our tiny rink. It was an amazing moment, and a great lesson in judging someone. When my mom showed up in the classroom with her hair in rollers I thought I would die from embarrassment, and then she took me on this amazing outing. I’ve met many, many ‘famous’ people in my career, Kings and movie stars, but nothing since has compared to that special gift from my mom.

LH: I have always wanted to start a charity for terminally ill adults. Is there something special that you’ve always wanted to do?

SS: I am one of the founding board members of the Desi Geestman Foundation. We assist children with cancer and their families as they go through the terrifying journey of battling this frightening disease. We provide assistance, both emotional and financial for so many basic needs that fall through the cracks. A child’s diagnosis and treatment can send the family into a tail spin that can last years, draining them financially as well as emotionally. We help out with everything from missed car payments, last minute birthday celebrations at the hospital, some special last requests, grief or support therapy, medication payments, and sometimes, sadly, even funeral costs. Really we step in where we are needed, usually when asked by the social workers. I love working with these amazing people. As you know, it puts everything in perspective. Traffic? So what? Your steak is too tough? Big deal. Your sister bitches at you about who’s hosting thanksgiving? Let her. My life is so rich in what is important that it’s much easier to let the stupid stuff go, and it’s mostly all stupid stuff!

LH: I personally think that there is way too much sex and violence everywhere in society these days and that Hollywood is one of the biggest contributors. It’s kind of ironic that we’re in the business of selling sex and violence. Ever feel conflicted and if so why?

SS: Very! I have refused many roles because of gratuitous violence. Especially when rape is used as a sneaky way to show nudity and sex. I’ve had it out with directors and producers!! I am careful about what I write as well. I know that there is that aspect to our society, and I can’t be true to a story if I shirk the violent nature and abuses of those who prey on our society, but I don’t glamorize it! Ever!

LH: It’s guilty pleasure time! Mine is Grey’s Anatomy. I get mad when the season ends, can’t wait for the new season to begin, will be devastated beyond imagination when it ends and find myself crying at some point in nearly every episode! What one television show is your “guilty pleasure”?

SS: I don’t have a ‘guilty’ pleasure, because I don’t watch much TV at all, and I only watch what I think is quality. I’d rather read a book or enjoy time with my family. My husband and I love to watch humor, we’ll go to “Whose Line is it Anyway?” or a stand up like Eddie Izzard. Our fallback sitcom is “Frazier” we own the complete set. 11 seasons makes for a good variety. The ensemble is remarkable and the writing is stellar!

LH: I have things I want the world to know so I write books…Is there anything else you’d like the world to know?

SS: Of course. First, you are not alone. You are a part of something bigger and you are responsible, not only for yourself, but for others and your planet as well. I believe we were meant to be the stewards of our planet, and having forgotten that, we feel very lost. Try it. Pick up some trash, or plant a tree, respect and beautify, and I guarantee that you will feel better, more fulfilled. The same can be said for helping other humans or animals. Going to the mall will not fill that emptiness, but going to the forest just might.

You are not only beautiful and talented SS, you are an amazing person!…Now… for the fun stuff!

Favorite Beverage? Mmm. Prossecco.

Airplane or Cruise ship? Not crazy about either these days, but I’ll take the plane. I prefer to tailor my own vacations.

Favorite Fruit? A ripe apricot.

Meat & Potatoes or Fruits and Veggies? Fruits and veggies.

Exercise or Bubble Bath? Both, and in that order.

Favorite Color? Green, green and more green, always loved it, a single leaf or blade of grass can bring me great joy.

Take out or Dine in? Dine in. I love to cook and spend time with family.

Camping or Hotel? I actually love both, though the super wasteful resort type places aren’t my style. I prefer places with character and history. I love to camp as well, but since I live in a National Forest, and sometime choose to sleep outside, I have that covered.

Sports or Chocolate? Sports.

Dogs or Cats? Cats! Look at my eyes!

Favorite Food? Pasta

Favorite Song? It’s a Wonderful Life, by Louis Armstrong.

Favorite Movie? The Thin Man

Favorite Car? Don’t have one. But if I did, it would be one that produced no pollution and bounced off of other cars so that no one would get hurt.

Sex or Chocolate? (The answer “Both” is totally acceptable 😉 Sex. I’m a triple Scorpio, there’s no contest. Nothing against chocolate.

And now for the essay part of the interview 😉

If you could go anywhere for a week, with anyone you wanted and no one would ever find out about it…where would you go, what would you do and who would you take?

SS: I suppose if I could go anywhere it might be to the moon, or into space, imagine looking back at the planet. You would see no lines separating countries, no religions, no hatred, only a miraculous planet teaming with life. Barring that, I would be where I am and do exactly what I do now. I would choose my husband, my girls, and my friends to be with me. I would spend that week traveling or stay home, meet new people, learn, laugh, and try new things. I would live those days with joy and compassion and enthusiasm, just as I hope I already do. I am so blessed and so lucky. If there were something else I wanted to do, I would do it. In fact, I’ve changed course drastically several times in my life for that very reason. I cannot control the waves of change or challenge, but I can learn to surf. I can embrace everything that those days offer—the frustrations and the excitement, the quiet and the noise. Because that’s life, that’s learning, that’s loving with style.

Thank you for spending this time with us and make sure to watch for Shari in the movie “Scream at the Devil” coming soon!

Welcome SC…I, LH have some questions for you 😉

LH: I wanted to be a ballerina, race car driver and a private detective when I was little. What did you want to be when you grew up?

SC: Ever since I was little I have wanted to be an actress the other option was a country western singer. My mother has embarrassing home videos of me both practicing my Oscar speech with a hairbrush in the mirror and also of me prancing around with nothing but cowgirl boots and a diaper on singing These Boots are Made for Walking.

LH: Oh my gosh, I bet that’s so cute!

LH: I can remember wanting to be a movie star when I was a little girl, but alas…How did you break into the modeling/acting/show business?

SC: Hard work. Dedicating most of my life to her and not being willing to settle for anything else. I have been performing since 3 yrs old and being from a small rural town it goes to show you create your own opportunities.

LH: It is awesome that you have stuck to your dream, so many don’t or don’t even dare to dream 😉

LH: I’ve heard that modeling/acting/show business is stressful and demanding. How do you handle the pressure and make it look like so much fun?

SC: The stressful aspect of it is the business side for me. The creative process and being able to feel and transform to me is beautiful and I love it. The business aspect is just staying on top of your game and honestly looking at yourself as a brand and you the CEO of your company how do you put your product out there and make it known.

LH: Well, you definitely make your brand shine bright!

LH: I detest having my picture taken! What’s the toughest part of modeling/acting/show business for you?

SC: The toughest part for me is having a personal life outside of the business. When you meet someone and tell them you are an actress they are usually okay with it for a brief minute and then jealousy sets in and relationships go sour quick. Same with friendships when you constantly have to tell your friends you can’t party this weekend you have to work or you can’t go on that trip with them they can get pretty irritated and annoyed with you. You figure out fast in this industry who is really there for you and who has your back.

LH: Ah yes, but knowing who your true friends are is priceless 😉

LH: I have a very bad body image as I used to be very heavy and lost 100 pounds. I get a lot of looks now and it makes me feel very uncomfortable. Do you ever get tired of being drooled over? (Not like I’d ever do that 😉

SC: Congratulations on loosing that much weight that is incredible! I tend to have a fairly low body image of myself as well. There are moments where I feel beautiful and then moments where I feel inadequate especially being in Los Angeles. But I tend to feel it is a common feeling that most girls and women deal with. As for being admired and drooled over I don’t mind as long as it is respectful. When someone says something that I find offensive that is when I get annoyed and upset.

LH: Eh…I had help from migraine medications. You on the other hand are stunning and I only wish I could be there when someone is disrespectful to you…having lived the life I have, especially 100 pounds overweight, they’d never be disrespectful again! I have a wicked sharp tongue 😉

LH: I’ve seen your face, body, etc. grace many places…Give me a list of your favorite assignments.

SC: A feature film I did last summer called Ascension probably is my favorite it was so much fun and spur of the moment. True Guerilla style film making we were in the desert on the California Mexico border just shooting a film and knocking it out in a week flat. Should be in film festivals this time next year or sooner actually just heard today the final edit was being worked on.

LH: That is awesome! I’ll be sure to watch for it and yell…”Hey! I know her!!!” lol

LH: I’m working on a secret project…Do you have any upcoming projects that you’d care to share?

SC: Right now I am working on producing a two person show for the theater with dear friend, talented actor, and kindred spirit Adoni Maropis. Super exciting and I am blessed to have the opportunity to do so. Also got meetings for a few more feature films and projects coming up this week, so staying busy.

LH: Busy is good…I know busy well 😉

LH: I LOVE to shoot pool to unwind and relieve stress. What do you do to wind down?

SC:  I love to paint and write poetry and when I am able to there is nothing that compares to getting to spend time outside and enjoying nature

LH: So…a true artist 😉

LH: A long those lines…When I was very young, I worked in the Special Events department at Caesars Tahoe and got to stay after a billiards tournament with Willie Mosconi and Minnesota Fats to knock around a few balls. It was one of my favorite memories from my time there. What is your favorite celebrity story?

SC: Getting to talk on the phone to Al Pacino for 10 minutes and to get an inspirational speech from Al Pacino over the phone I was on cloud 9 for a good few days after that.

LH: OMG! I bet…that is AWESOME!

LH: I have always wanted to start a charity for terminally ill adults. Is there something special that you’ve always wanted to do?

SC:  I want to give back to artist, to create a safe house with education for talented young adults looking to come to Hollywood and break into the business. A place where they wouldn’t have to worry about rent or classes. A place where they could learn and grow and develop as artist in a safe environment focusing on their careers.  After moving out here it really hits home how so many people end up homeless and came out here with nothing to begin with. I think you need to be smart about moving out here and following your dreams but also I would like to decrease the occurrence of homelessness.

LH: *Sniffs* That is beautiful my dear…simply beautiful.

SC: CALIFORNICATION I love this show. Pure genius David Duchovny is Hank Moody and I love it!

LH: MMMM David Duchovny…I love how he’s living his real life on screen, wish I could do that…oh wait, I did it in a book lol

LH: I have things I want the world to know so I write books…Is there anything else you’d like the world to know?

SC: I want the world to know compassion and peace. To learn love and to be able to harmonize and create magic to work together and not fight and wage war.

LH: WORLD PEACE! That’s my girl! 😉

If you could go anywhere for a week, with anyone you wanted and no one would ever find out about it…where would you go, what would you do and who would you take?

SC: I love the ocean and the beaches someplace warm and tropical. I would love to go to Cuba with my sisters. There is something enticing about being someplace you are not supposed to be I guess. But it’s beautiful there and it would be interesting to explore the cultural side of it too, to see the old buildings and experience the music, dance, food, drink, and people of Cuba. Mostly just would spend my time laying back and enjoying the ocean and the beauty of nature.
