A truth or dare. Yeah, I know we can’t check if you really do the dare, but if you don’t tell the truth I dare you to write a poem about Stilettos. 🙂

1. Did you ever kiss someone you shouldn’t have?

No!  It’s hard to go wrong with this! 🙂

2. Have you ever purposefully forgot your purse when going out to dinner with a guy?

Never!

3. Did you ever lie to a police officer when pulled over?

Yes!  “I am looking for the nearest bathroom!  Can you advise?” 🙂

4. Have you ever fell in love at first sight?

Big time!  Read the book! 🙂

5. Did you ever cross a border you weren’t allowed to?

Yes!  Read the book! 🙂

6. Have you ever been on TV?

Yes!  In Ukraine and in the US.  A shot from the Ukraine interview is on my www.loveisneverpasttense.com pictures on the page “About the Author”, and there is a full interview in the US on my business website www.life-spark.com

7. Did you ever eat something you hated and pretended to like it?

Broccoli!  I am still pretending that I like it! 🙂

8. Have you ever loved and lost?

Big time! Read the book! 🙂

9. Did you ever turn down a great offer because you didn’t like the person offering?

I do not remember anything like this.  It seems to me that usually, people who make you an offer like you.  This is the reason that they are making the offer. Again, usually, this likability is mutual.

10. Have you told the truth while answering all these questions?

The truth? Yes! For the whole truth, READ THE BOOK!

If you will excuse me, I am off to the shoe store looking for some inspiring stilettos to write a poem 🙂

From August 26th through 31st Love is Never Past Tense will Blast across the internet.

The events described in the book occur amidst complicated changes in the political and economic system of the former Soviet Union. This is a period of great turmoil for the country and the people. A period of many broken destinies, and uprooted lives.
The book weaves its story within the discord of the country. Fear is growing, an animal fear. There remains only one way–emigration. An evacuation without bombing and without the ability to come back, the author writes. You cannot give a better definition.
The rest you will need to read. Because of this, the book delivers multifaceted, versatile content in huge volume to the reader’s range of vision. In some special moments, the author makes us breathless, frantic with worry, and hoping to relax if a satisfactory solution of the situation arrives.

Excerpt

A splash was heard…

A splash was heard. It was a wave that went over the top of the gunwales, and the boat immediately became heavier. “Two more such waves and everything will be over.” The old man spoke in catalepsy, and his hand convulsively stretched out to the ropes. But they had become wet and did not want to be untied. Besides, to unwind them, time was needed. There wasn’t any more time left. The old man began to take out handfuls of water: the instinctive animal actions of a dying person. “The ropes should be cut. But with what? I threw out everything.” Panic possessed him, although he understood that panicking was not allowed. But there was no decision. A chance for rescue did not remain. There was only a sinking boat, a stone, and himself, fatally tied to this stone.
